About
Night Vision Films are another great innovation by 3M. Made of carbon fiber polyester, this film offers the best blend between performance and optical clarity. Night Vision films are reflective films, however they are not nearly as reflective as traditional silver or bronze films.

What does Night Vision mean?
This patented technology is known as Night Vision because of its low interior reflectivity. Traditional reflective films have equal amounts of reflectivity on both sides of the film making your inside view look like a mirror at night, dawn, dusk, overcast and rainy days. Of course this means you will not be able to see out of your windows during these times. Since Night Vision film’s interior reflectivity is the same as clear glass this is not a problem. In fact, most people have GREATER optical clarity and increased views once the right Night Vision product for their situation is applied to the existing windows!
Traditional Residential applications for Night Vision Films
Night Vision Films are great for the reduction of fading, solar heat gain, and glare. Here are some traditional uses of the Night Vision Window Films where clients will receive energy savings, restored views, increased comfort, and the perfect amount of natural light.

Traditional Commercial applications for Night Vision Films
Night Vision Films are great for exterior uniformity, substantial energy savings, reduced solar heat gain and glare, and employee/tenant comfort. These films have just the right amount of reflectivity hiding open and closed blinds making your building look decades newer without looking like a large mirror. Depending on the variables of your building you can expect a return on investment with energy savings in the range of two to six years. There is no more cost effective window treatment available that will do everything that Night Vision Window Films can accomplish for a building owner, facility manager, or a tenant.
