LEED & Window Film
3M™ Window Films can help you attain LEED points! Click on the link below to review the suggestions presented by the 3M Window Film Division. From day lighting and views to fade reduction and energy savings, 3M Window film is a cost effective alternative to full window unit replacement. As windows are considered the most inefficient portion of the building envelope, installing film can help turn average windows, or even upgraded units, into high-performance windows, all the while saving on initial and long-term cost and reducing the environmental impact of the project from the construction phase through the life of the building. Window films significantly improve the overall energy efficiency of the building-cost savings and reduced environmental impact can be realized from the build through the long term occupancy of the building. Window film is also a creative solution for improving project performance for the myriad building rating systems used both locally and nationally. Allow us to help you look at your project’s windows in a new light. If you have a project that requires improved performance, either existing building or new construction, residential or commercial, contact us to see how we can help you attain the ratings you’re trying to achieve.
